Artist edition: Nikita Kadan

Nikita Kadan was born and still, despite Russian aggression, works in Kiev. He is a multimedia artist; his works can be found in institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, MUMOK in Vienna and, of course, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The release of this artist edition is linked to another of our projects: the Friends are involved (alongside the Museum) in the realisation of Nikita Kadan's sculpture in the Bródno Sculpture Park.
The edition was produced at the Experimental Lithography Workshop in Saska Kepa of Runo Lifograf (UNESCO has included this profession on the list of endangered professions). Because of the visit of a distinguished guest, Pablo Picasso, the workshop is now operating under the patronage of the King of Spain. It was this atelier that also printed Aleksandra Waliszewska's edition for her 2022 show at the Museum.
