The Board of the Friends of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw
The annual General Meeting of Members elected the new Board of the Friends of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw composed of:
Aleksandra Auleytner PhD – President of the Board
Lawyer specialising i.a. in copyright and intellectual property law, the originator and manager of the postgraduate studies "Art Market Management" at the Department of Management of the University of Warsaw. Partner in DZP Law Firm.
Katia Szczeka – Secretary of the Board
Collection Manager in the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. From 2007 to 2010 specialist in modern art valuation at Sotheby’s Auction House in London. Also worked for Philips Auction House in London. Graduate of the University of Warsaw and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
Michał Borowik – Treasurer
Specialises in business relations development, SCR strategies, fundrising, coordination of multidisciplinary projects. Responsible for the Grand Opening project of POLIN Museum in Warsaw. In 2017 and 2018 coordinated three education campaings of combined value over PLN 7 million. From 2005 Michał has been developing original contemporary art collection named “Borowik Collection”. Graduate of the Department of Management of the University of Warsaw.
Helena Czernecka – Member of the Board
In 2013 – 2019 Helena worked for art collections and galleries in Paris, Miami, and London, i.a. the Margulies Collection, Almine Rech Gallery, and Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac. Cooperated with Zachęta National Gallery of Art on Polish Pavillion in Venice during 58th Venice Biennale. Member of "Granatowy Wena" Grant Committee which supports original projects in artistic education. Modern art collector. Graduated from History of Art at Sorbonne University.
Anna Tryc-Bromley – Member of the Board
Teacher of visual arts and Mentor at Akademeia High School in Warsaw, lecturer at postgraduate management studies "Art Market Management" at the University of Warsaw. In 2016 – 2018 the manager of the Department of Communication of the Museum of Modrn Art in Warsaw. A former manager of cultural institutions and a diplomat. In 2012 – 2015 the first Director of the Polish Institute in New Delhi. In 2006 – 2011 the Deputy Director of the Polish Institute in London. Graduated from Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
