The annual General Meeting of Members elected the new Board of the Friends of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw composed of:

Aleksandra Auleytner PhD – Chair of the Board

Lawyer specialising i.a. in copyright and intellectual property law, the originator and manager of the postgraduate studies "Art Market Management" at the Department of Management of the University of Warsaw. Partner in DZP Law Firm.

Jekaterina Szczeka – Secretary

Collection Development Manager in the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. From 2007 to 2010 specialist in modern art valuation at Sotheby’s Auction House in London. Also worked for Philips Auction House in London. Graduate of the University of Warsaw and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.

Michał Borowik – Treasurer, coordinator of the "Polish Home Movie Archive" project

Michał specializes in management, marketing, communication and coordination of complex projects. He gained experience in international companies and institutions, such as the Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN, where he was responsible for fundraising. Since 2005 he has been creating his own collection of contemporary art called "Borowik Collection". On March 30, 2020 he initiated "Polish Art NOW" a nationwide and independent movement to support artists during the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021 he established the Borowik Foundation, which aims to popularize and disseminate Polish contemporary art around the world. Graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.

Helena Czernecka – Member of the Board

Curator of “Primary Forms”, a periodic exhibition programme of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (together with Sebastian Cichocki). In 2019 she worked at the 58th Venice Biennale with Zachęta National Gallery of Art on the Polish Pavilion. Founder of the Friends’ Art Prize presented during the gallery-share initiative Friend of a Friend, Warsaw. Between 2013–2019 Helena worked for art collections and galleries, including Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, London; Almine Rech Gallery, London; Galerie Kamel Mennour, Paris and the Margulies Collection, Miami, FL. She is a member of the Committee of the Starak Family Foundation’s “Wena” Educational Grant Programme. She completed her MA in History of Art from the Sorbonne University, Paris, in 2016, followed by an MA in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2021.

Krzysztof Nowakowski - Member of the Board

Managing Director at Korn Ferry in Poland. Krzysztof is an expert in advising on change and transformation, management development and team effectiveness. Krzysztof holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw. He earned an MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota and the Warsaw School of Economics. A collector of modern art. Member of the Council of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

Kinga Szafrankowska - Member of the Board

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. Civil servant and diplomat from 2005 to 2015. Kinga completed postgraduate studies in Art History and Art in Practice at Collegium Civitas; she develops art projects for public and commercial spaces. She runs a Youtube channel Kinga Fortissima covering ative lifestyle and contemporary art.

Anna Tryc-Bromley – Member of the Board

Teacher of visual arts and Mentor at Akademeia High School in Warsaw, lecturer at postgraduate management studies "Art Market Management" at the University of Warsaw. In 2016 – 2018 the manager of the Department of Communication of the Museum of Modrn Art in Warsaw. A former manager of cultural institutions and a diplomat. In 2012 – 2015 the first Director of the Polish Institute in New Delhi. In 2006 – 2011 the Deputy Director of the Polish Institute in London. Graduated from Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
