On Thursday, September 24go 2020, the inaugural meeting of the Modern Seniors Club took place, it was a "Sentimental Walk" in the open air - from the headquarters of the Museum of Modern Art at 3 Panska Street to Defilad Square.

Club members were welcomed by Jola Woch and Adrian Krupa, who will lead the Club, as well as MSN Director Joanna Mytkowska, Investment Director Mikołaj Mundzik, representatives of the Society of Friends of the Museum, people from the Center for Local Activity on Nowolipie, organizers of the competition from the Society of Creative Initiatives "ę" and Ms. Editor from the "Generations" monthly.

At Panska Joanna Mytkowska and Mikołaj Mundzik talked about how it happened that it was here and to the Emilia Furniture House that the Museum moved in, why and how Emilia was demolished and about the high-rise building that will be built there. Jola Woch and Adrian Krupa showed the interiors of the headquarters on Panska Street with furniture, the Emilia Furniture House building, the demolition of the Pavilion and visualizations of the skyscraper. This was followed by a walk to the Palace of Youth and we approached the construction site of the new museum, where the director, Nikolai Mundzik, talked about the construction - the first and second, final, projects, the difficulties of building on this site and the hopes for a half-million-strong audience for the new museum.
