15 Cardinal Directions - film screening

The Mazovian Institute of Culture and the Society of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invite you to a screening of the film "15 Sides of the World", directed by Zuzanna Solakiewicz. Eugeniusz Rudnik revolutionized the concept of music with a pair of scissors and a tape recorder. A member of the legendary Experimental Studio of Polish Radio, he discovered the value hidden in broken, discarded sounds long before the advent of the DJ era. At a time when electronic music was created on equipment straight out of a scientific laboratory, he showed how to use it to reach out and tell a story about another human being. 15 Sides of the World is an attempt to hear his music through his eyes. Following the rhythm of architecture, the movement of the human body, the pulsing pulse of nature, we rediscover the reality around us. We touch the sound! The moving images show the miracle that came true in the era of tape recorders and disappeared with the advent of computers. They express admiration for the wonderful analog era and the need for experimentation - discovering unknown regions, exploring boundaries, constantly searching for new means of expression.
